The Haringey Compact

Working BETTER Together

The Compact is a documented working agreement between the Public, and Voluntary and Community Sectors based on principles which:

• Engender successful partnership work
• Improve volunteering
• Cause the role of BME community groups to be valued
• Cause the role of young people to be recognized
• Foster the effective use of resources
• Improve liaison and consultation between the sectors, and with service users
